Konan (¬“ì, Konan) is the only female ninja in Akatsuki and the only member to call Pein by his name. She has blue hair with a paper flower accessory in it. Konan has the ability to divide her body into countless numbers of paper sheets, which she can fold into various shapes like origami, such as numerous butterflies or a spear to attack. She and Jiraiya seem to know each other from when she was younger, though the details of their connection are unknown.
